Ms. Keisha Evans is Wheatley High School ’s Teacher of the Year. Ms. Evans is an outstanding Geometry teacher. She inspires and motivates all of her students to exceed. This talented educator maintains high expectations for all her students.

The results are in.  Wheatley High School is proud to announce the following as winners in the North Region Science Fair Competition held on Friday, February 5, 2010.
1st place in Medicine/Biochemistry - Chelsea Fields and Lameika Walker
2nd place Physics Individual - Reginauld Raglin
2nd place Physics Team - Kensha Busby, Reva Menson, and Heather Struggs
3rd place Biochemistry - Escat Jiminez, Tyler London, and Mariah Burgess

Congratulations to Nichel Jennings who was named to the Houston Independent School District's 1st Team - All Academic Volleyball Team 2009 - 2010 with a GPA of 3.9 as a Outside Hitter. Porcha Humphrey was named to the 2nd Team as a Setter and Ashley Howard was named to the Honorable Mention All Academic Volleyball Team as a Middle Blocker. Congratulations to our Lady Wildcats!
